My name is Lianne, but I work under my brand ‘Here we ride’.

I am a female creator, motorcycle rider and enthusiast. my work promoted female empowerment and female voice, and this most commonly manifests itself within the world of motorcycling. I love riding and have been doing so since I was 19 years old. Its something that has made me feel strong and brave, which is something I have always found challenging as a female. I have found that within the motorcycle community often women’s voices are not listened to or not heard. We are misrepresented and I aim to address that. I want to engage women to promote strength, courage, to be unconventional and to defy expectations.

I have always focused on my own voice within my artwork, interested in the reasons why women compete and the negative impact this has on us. Focusing on bringing women together, creating connection and community is so important as both an artist and a female.

Currently I work in a range of media from coloured and tonal pencil, digital illustration, print work and textiles. I love bold imagery and big statements in my artwork, prints and clothing!
